It’s a creative game that supports location of fiction and nonfiction books, finding reference materials, teamwork, award winning books, and alphabetical order. Best of all it’s organized fun in your library!
Each team receives a game card with six different items to find within the library. For example:
1. Two books about weather
2. A fiction book whose author’s last name begins with an “F”
3. Leave a teammate’s shoe in the section you would find a book about North Carolina
4. A book with a copyright date after 1980
5. The volume of the encyclopedia that would have information about space shuttles
6. Have your team sit in alphabetical order by first names when finished
